Who We Are
State Street Project is a community outlet for youth and upcoming adults to be a part of and receive mentoring, empowering of positive ideas, and having a fun and safe place to grow into positive and healthy individuals and families.
State Street Project is a collaboration of like-spirited organizations and agencies with the common goal of community empowerment and sustainability. This is accomplished by leveraging their human, social, and economic capital while following the vision for the community that was designed and created by the youth and families living in our community.
All areas of interest fall within five main categories: Housing, Hunger, Health, Education (youth development and adult), and Economic Development.
"What if an entire community came together? If their individual pebbles were combined, they would be the size of a rock with a mass of a stone. Together, side by side, we will cast into the Water our Stone and create a wave of transformation that is not only felt across this city, but from the heartland of our nation to the edges of the ocean and beyond."
